GENOTYPE AND PHENOTYPE

Genotype: is the genetic constitution of the individual which is fixed at the time of fertilization.
 Phenotype: is the appearance of an individual resulting from the interaction of genotype &
environment. It is the physical or biochemical expression of the genotype. Phenotype is
potentially variable.
